The West Rim is the closest and most easily accessible location to visit from Las Vegas. Driving through most part in a typical Arizona landscape with a lot of joshua tree, passing the Hoover Dam,it’s only a 3.5 hour drive, which makes it the best choice for a day trip. The West Rim is also home to the famous Grand Canyon Skywalk, 4,000 feet above the Grand Canyon, a horseshoe-shaped cantilever bridge with a glass walkway at Eagle Point. Grand Canyon West is not part of Grand Canyon National Park,it is owned and operated by the Hualapai Indian Tribe,visitors required to purchase a general admission ticket.
Guano Point is one of the most dramatic view point with stunning, 360-degree views of the Canyon.It is named after the Bat Cave Mine 2,500 feet below, across the canyon.
