La Orotava

Many believe that La Orotava is one of the most beautiful areas in Tenerife. Located in the Valley of La Orotava, the town is made up of wonderfully kept traditional houses, leading the town centre to be declared a Historic-Artistic Site. This colonial town has the lot, it seems: cobblestone streets, flower-filled plazas and more Castilian mansions than the rest of the island put together, one of the most truly ‘Canarian’ places in the Canary Islands.

Icod de los Vinos

Icod de los Vinos is home to both the oldest draco, or dragon tree.If you cut into the wood of a Dragon tree it owes's a blood red rubbery sap, that looks like blood, Dragons blood thus giving the tree it's name. The Plaza de La Pila, or Square of the fountain, is one of the main squares and around its edges are some lovely old houses in traditional Canaries style.

San Cristobal de La Laguna

Located in the north of the island of Tenerife, San Cristobal de La Laguna was the first city established in the Canary Islands and to date is the only one to be declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its colonial architecture, the linear layout of its streets and a large pedestrianised shopping area, all combine to give a distinctive feel to this ancient city, historic streets offer visitors an unforgettable experience.

Mount Teide

One of Europe's most visited national parks ,a unique landscape of craters, volcanoes and rivers of petrified lava, surrounding the impressive silhouette of Teide Volcano that stands at 3,718 m above sea level.Teide National Park is one of the great wonders of the world,it was declared a National Park in 1954 and in 1989 it was awarded the top category of the European Diploma of Protected Areas.Incredible scenery, most of it is above the clouds is,a trip you cannot miss if you are on Tenerife.
