homemade yogurt flatbread with chicken caesar salad

ingredients for the flatbread:

  • 2 cups flour (can be self raising but then leave out the baking powder and soda)

  • 1 2/3 cup Greek yogurt

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1/4 tsp baking powder

  • salt



ingredients for the salad:

  • (it is a simplified version of the caesar salad)

  • 2-3 chicken breast

  • romaine lettuce

  • caesar salad dressing

  • cheese(parmesan or any cheese you like)

  • salt,pepper




cooking method for the flatbreads:

Mix all the ingredients to get a sticky dough,divide the dough into 6-8 pieces of balls,depends on the size of your pan.On a floured surface roll the balls into a a few mm thin circle to fit your pan.Use a cast iron skillet,pre heat the skillet on medium heat,no need to use oil just add the dough,cook for about a minute per side until it browns a little and bubbles appear.


cooking method for the caesar salad:

Cut the chicken into smaller cubes or strips and grill them on a little oil with salt,pepper.

Cut the lettuce and mix with the dressing then just add it on top of the flatbreads,then add the chicken and cheese on top.
