Rice pudding

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rice(jasmine)

  • 2 cups milk

  • 1-2 tbs light brown sugar

  • Pinch of salt

  • Vanilla

  • 1 tbs butter

  • Whipped cream

  • Red currant jam(or any jam you prefer)

  • cinnamon

  • Apple chips(optional)


Cooking method:

Cook the rice in the milk on low heat,after a few minutes add the sugar,vanilla.Stir occasionally until it thickens.When it is all well cooked take off from the heat and stir in the butter.Let it cool,then serve it in small bowls or cups with the jam on the bottom,then the rice,add whipped cream,sprinkle with cinnamon,add the apple chips as decoration.
